Show Notes

In this episode Carly Bond speaks about her love of the people of East London, the importance of sisterhood, her adventurous spirit and two important realisations that began to silence and question the validity of assumptions made about other people and the thoughts such as 'I don't know enough.'

Carly works in community development and is committed to amplifying the voices and experiences of people often unseen and unheard, to support action taking on issues that affect them and where they live.

Carly is all about being the change you want to see in the world! Shining the message of one love and doing the necessary work to unpack systems and beliefs that lead to disadvantage, harm and division.

What I enjoyed about speaking with Carly was feeling the love and curiosity of diversity and wanting to see as much of the richness in the world as she can.

You can find Carly as enthusiastic Head of Delivery at Best Beginnings, delivering community developed infused projects, which harness the power of digital tools like the Baby Buddy app, to democratise access to evidenced information for all and support parents throughout pregnancy and beyond.
